Thank you Dominic and Terri.
It is minus 2 Fahrenheit here today and I sit here day-dreaming about our vacation to come in June, back there in Cornwall.

You have to love the colour of that water. I live in weston super mare and all I see is the mud from the Bristol channel! Beautiful shot Pete.
You sound like you miss Cornwall terribly, why did you leave? #7174324

Thank you kindly Chris. I certainly didn't have to do much photoshop color adjustment with this beautiful scenery.
Yes, I do miss Cornwall in many ways but am fortunate in that I am able to return there each year for my vacations. There is a paradox though in that although nostalgia pulls me back there and I have two sisters and one of my brothers still living there, I always have mixed feelings once there. The problem with seventy years of nostlgia is that it is the older memories that are most vivid and those fields we played in now have housing estates covering them. The street on the outskirts of the town on which we lived had so little traffic that we could play roller skate hockey on it but now I can't even find a place to park for a few minutes while I look at our old house or Nana's immediately across the road. So, until I drive up to Bodmin Moor which is entirely unspoiled, I have these love/hate feelings about "progress". Like so many Cornish folk, I left after High school to work and attend college in London and eventually married and raised kids in Chesham, Bucks and eventually divorced and re-married and emigrated in 1992.
Now, we live on the outskirts of a similar sized town to those back there but my little house is down a private lane and we see one car an hour. I don't roller skate though!
Cheers Chris. Pete #7175621
