Have you ever been told
Uploaded: January 08, 2009
Tony said I shouldn't feed the birds a lot as they will get to dependant & not look for food themselves. So I said I'll only feed them of a night. They called out this morning & I didn't go out, then we heard a lot of noise. This Kookaburra was dropping some of Tony's tools in the open wizzbin. Lens aperture F/3.5, shutter speed 1/60sec, focal length, taken this morning.

Great expression you have capture! Maybe you better feed him in the morning or tell Tony to hide his tools! :>) #1064290Sherran Andersen January 08, 2009
Uh oh!!! Great capture Chris. Sherran #7002863Chris Ebben January 08, 2009
Thanks for your comments. I've decided to feed them in the morning, cause I'm always home then. That will make him be more tidy & we'll have to shut the bin!! They are good workers too, they clean out the gutter & throw all the rubbish on the front steps so it's easy for him to pick up. #7002897Kitty R. Rodehorst-Hanna January 08, 2009

Well, he certainly got your attention, didn't he!! I have to feed mine in the morning simply because that is what works in my schedule, but they seem to like it that way! Beautiful capture of this little troublemaker, Chris!! I just love these guys, and didn't see any while we were in Australia. But, they do have some in the zoo in Seattle, so I do get to see them occassionally! #7006609Tammy Espino January 09, 2009

Lol, Chris - superb capture of this character of a kooka!! I just LOVE to see kooka's in our yard - they quite often rest on our Hills Hoist, too...waiting for a snack to be heard in the ground underneath!! ;o) How did you and Tony survive the heat this past week? Thankfully, it's a lot cooler here just now, though!! :o) #7042491Chris Ebben January 17, 2009
