Peace to the World

Description

f/5.6, ISO: 64, Focal Length: 7.8 mm.
The Unisphere is a giant steel globe, 140 feet high and 120 feet in diameter, and weighs 900,000 pounds. It is located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York. It was built by the US Steel Corporation for the 1964-1965 World's Fair as a symbol of world peace. The Unisphere is the best symbol of the borough of Queens and also one of the largest globes ever made.
I took this photo during an overcast weather condition in order to place more emphasis on the beautiful Unisphere and its environment.

Very Nice.
The POV and your expl. of when you shot it & why makes sense to me as I'm a NY'er. Any other time it would have been a washed out shot.

It was MOST IMPRESSIVE when I was 12 and it was NEW. Back in the day...

Happy Shooting
