Well, it appears I'll be in the minority. The first thing that struck me was that it's seemed "un-real".... overprocessed...oversharpened? Then, it appears there's a cross at the peak of the church, yet, if so, it's cut off. If you were to move in a bit closer, or maybe shoot from a lower position, you'd have it. That said, an otherwise great compostion, and great light and colors.

Pat... Thank you for your honest comment on my POTD today. It is "over processed". It's an HDR image. And yes, there is a cross at the top and I wished I had gotten lower for the shot, which I did on another one, but I liked the people in this one, especially the bike. I'll be going back soon for another try.

Being Sunday and have just come home from church, truly appreciate this image to start the New Year off in a goodly and Godly manner - PLUS a wonderful POTD. More like a painting.
So ornate and full of detail, I love it in every way, especially the family portrayed as America once was.

Perfect use of HDR. I normally find HDR too "too", but this use captures the architectural beauty, the saturated color already present plus delivers that other-worldly aura that's appropriate to the setting. Looks like they're all going into heaven! Bravo. #6981634
