Great portrait & nice b&w tones, Peter! :) #1050399Peter W. Marks December 12, 2008
Thanks Amy, and thank you too for your email. It has got me thinking about the tripod head as this has been one of the points of frustration on the few occasions I use mine. The cheapy pan and tilt slowly sags when I use any of my heavier lens so I give up on it. Of course when I look at the prices of top class tripods and heads I try to believe in Santa and will leave a wish note by the fireplace. Bet he misses me again this year!Terri L. Great tones and capture!! #6928645Peter W. Marks December 22, 2008
Hi Terri. Thsnk you very much! this is one of my great nephews at a wedding. I didn't really notice what he was doing with his hand until I started working on the image. It looks as if he is holding a flower and is about to compose an ode to a wilting dandelion! But when I zoomed in on it I could see that the flower is in fact a carnation boutonniere in his jacket lapel and he is holding a piece of food in his fingers. I just loved the smart pin-striped suit over a T-shirt depicting some horned demon. Wouldn't have been able to get away with that when I was a teen-ager!Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
