I love the setting and the spotlight. No weird shadows or anything on the face. Just unbelievable! #1133740

Michelle B. Prince February 25, 2005

this is great. How did you do that? #1133949

Carolyn Foster Spano February 26, 2005

Thanks JoAnna and Michelle. These were taken outdoors on the porch of an old abandoned school house better known as my photo studio (LOL). There are wonderful features about the building which make it a great place for photographs.
I should have mentioned in my first post that I added the lighting in PS7. I wasn't holding out, I honestly just never thought to put it in the first post. (Filter>Render>Lighting Effects)

Thank you guys for looking and for commenting.

I love photos of people. That's all I tend to photograph myself is people, you got a great shot there with the light. Well, that's obvious to everyone that the lighting was so cool. But what struck me was that you really got to focus on the eyes, the lighing made the eyes! Lisa Marriner #1178079

Just went through your gallery Carolyn and you do fabulous work, I like your style!!! #1718889

Carolyn Foster Spano August 15, 2005

Thanks Daniel. You have some great photos as well. Urban youth is probably my favorite. Your family is lovely. I enjoyed You may Kiss the Bride too. I totally understand your Take Me To Your Leader. I recently took photos of a bumble bee covered in pollen and it so reminded me of an alien. I don't have the equipment for good macro shots but it was fun just the same.

Congrats on all the finalist photos.
Nice work.

Sorry Kenneth. I was trying to add more photos for a client to see. Changed my mind and put it all back like it was. LOL I will just give them a cd to look at. It's easier!
