Debbie E. Payne October 27, 2008

My daughter used to live in Rochester, NY -- so I've been to Niagra twice, once in summer and once in the fall. Beautiful area and those houses are truly awesome. But this one is just gorgeous -- and pumpkins, too! Oooo...I LOVE fall and this is fall at its very best. That botanical garden there is amazing, too. Such beautiful roses OMG! #6670238

M.Christine Duncan October 29, 2008

Thanks Debbie, yes, the area is wonderful to photograph no matter what time of the year you go! There's so many possible captures everywhere you look!!! #6677339

The lovely Victorian Style Home. The TURRET with shake siding and a circular porch!!! The stonework path...The BEAUTIFUL IRON WORK gating...The burst of colors in the garden. POV was right on the mark...

WOW! 10/10 lady! -Laura :)

Christine,

I really like how you have conveyed the stateliness of this old and venerable home. Your decision to place it in the upper right hand corner adds to its proud feeling and personality.

I can picture myself walking up the serpentine walk and putting down a deposit to buy it!! My studio and office would be located on the top floor of the tower. Great view!

A very respectful image with a spark of historical energy!

Gosh, thanks Laura! I did this back in the fall... I may go back around easter or the May long weekend, it's such a beautiful quaint town along the water!

Thanks Christine L! Have you ever been down to Niagara On The Lake with your camera yet?

Thank you so much Stephen ;-) I have such an appreciation for beautiful older architecture, that I just wanted to do this lovely property justice. And they've kept this beauty in wonderful shape... in fact the whole area is reknowned for it! The fall color added a lovely contrast, I knew I had to nab a shot of this, lol. Thanks again! #7173365

Congratulations Christine on your EFP! Truly a prize winner of an image.

Laura, as for your question about finding a suitable room for your keryboard, I suggest, although it is your home, to place your KB in front of the largest bay window to capture the best view of the gardens.

Great work Christine.
