Filling Our Potato House

Uploaded: October 04, 2008

Description

Filling one of our storage bins in our potato house. The piece of machinery which makes this possible is a bin piler.
A Bin Piler is a workhorse machine for piling potatoes into storage or loading out into semi trailers.
We were only able to harvest our potatoes one day last week due to the rain. Hopefully if the weather co-operates we will be done by Thursday.
Keep your fingers crossed. We are digging today. :)

Roxanne- Im glad Im not on KP duty and have to peel all of them. I have enjoyed the whole process you go though in the production on your farm from planting to harvesting the potatoes. I enjoy seeing the different machines you use like this one here, and what makes it so interesting is not only the wonderful pictures, but your detailed information that you include with each picture. So fasinating.
Wonderful details, excellent color, lightng and clarity are outstanding.
