Now there's a little blast from the past for you, Jill!! What a wonderful capture of this cheery-looking cafe!! The crack on the upper right seems to indicate that this building has withstood some earthquake activity at some time in the past, too(?)!! :o) #6508513Terry L. Ellis September 25, 2008

I absolutely love this! What a fantastic find! There was a Busy Bee in Chicago, once upon a time... from 1935 to 2001, I think. From the outside, not quite as colorful as this. But inside? BEST Polish food every served. Half was a funky diner - half was a bit more elegant, with red linen table clothes and candles. It was very, very popular and famous. Alas, it was a victim of "Regentrification" and is now a shi-shi noodle house with purple neon lights... really, the day they closed their doors "it was not My Chicago anymore!" Long live Mom and Pop cafes like this! Great photo with outstanding color and a great aura of nostalgia, Jill! #6549192Brenda W. LaFleur October 23, 2008

Great shot! Beautifully composed. The charming subject reminds me of a European bake shop. #6680802Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
