Thank you so much Michelle, I do so appreciate your comment.
I have been to your gallery and of course I love the warplanes (It's a guy thing!)but I have to say I admire the wide range of images that you display there and the overall quality of them. They make me realise that I can be just a tad slap-happy with my own shots. As soon as I see something I want to capture, up comes the camera and more or less sharply focussed will do; well that is until I get home and see them on the monitor! Then, just like a heavy smoker I promise myself that I will change my bad habit and take my tripod next time!
I see that you use a variety of post processing techniques such as HDR(yes?) filters and infra-red and yours are examples of knowing just how far to go without turning everything into cartoon posters. We all have differing tastes of course and yours I admire.
