Description

Digital darkroom entry: This gorgeous frontyard was shot east of Hanover, NH after watching a Dartmouth football game with my brother and niece who are both alumnus members now.

I'm guessing we'll lose power later today so I'll see you all after hurricane Ike gets done with us :0) Right now it is very still, hot and humid just north of Houston. Pat and I are hunkered down and I have a good supply of homemade cookies and fresh candy (LOL).

Thanks Dom, Bonnie, Tammy, Linda, Deb, Meghan and Carolyn! No change in our weather here yet but the TV shots of the coast line look like the waves are getting pretty big. The sea all in Galveston is 12 feet tall and the waves are already breaking over the top with Ike still a few hundred miles out. If Ike takes a turn to the east which is pretty common down here it will be bad news for Marsha Smith and other BPers in the Beaumount/Lake Charles area. Ilana's (fellow BPer) daughter (works for Continental Airlines)is in a Conroe shelter just 10 miles north of us here in The Woodlands. You know it might be bad because Wal-Mart is closed :0) #6445754
