Pete:
The title is pretty good except it would have been nice had the father been looking towards the hole since his son would be saying "what's down there dad?"

The only other thing is that is looks like the photo is a little sharpe... maybe it's just the type of backgroud and my computer screen.

Do you shoot in RAW?

Well Sweetpea, what have we got here?
You don't like the title-eh? Now I am going to have to explain what is happening in this image.
This pair were about 100ft distant from where I stood on the road above the beach but I could clearly hear the little guy trying to get his dad's attention "Dad, Dad! What's down there Dad?" hence my title. Later I took a look and it was a just a three feet deep crevass with a pool of water at the bottom but who knows what a three year old thought might be down there!
Now to your second point. You are quite right Tammy; I have gone a bit crazy with unsharp mask in PS and overdone it. So thank you for pointing that out.

The title I do like and fits the young boy well. All I was saying is that if the dad had of been looking in the direction of the boy would have been just perfect... of course when shooting random there is no such thing is perfect and we sometimes have to take and live with what we get. Try color burning the rocks or desaturating or who knows. I never know what I am going to do with something until I play around and just do it and it comes out ot my liking......LOL...
I know you could soften up the rocks a little though....

You gotta love me....I'm sweetpea...LOL...LOL #6290839

nice capture peter, I would agree with tammy on maybe softening it a bit. maybe even cropping in a bit to draw the focus to the cute little guy?jmo #6294770
