I hope I don't have much trouble with them as they grow up. They have a really good, young mother, who is not destructive.

I've been leaving scraps out for them, where they can reach, but their mom has taught them to climb just about everything, so they should be in good shape.

My captures are my memories. Indeed, the only way I can remember what I've observed. It's fun!

I wish I had a long, fast lens so I could fill my frame and provide sharper images. Also, look forward to late fall so I can open the windows and won't have to shoot through glass. Window glass, even when clean, tends to soften the images. #6213454

Thank you for your compliments. I can get close if I sit down with a bag full of peanuts. But, I cannot move. Moving spokes them, even though they "know" I won't hurt them. Hence, I am not able to photograph them outside. At least, not without a very long and fast lens. The lens I would like is 400mm f2.8, but it costs something like US$6,800.00 and is very heavy. I cannot justify spending that kind of money at this age. But a slower lens won't work well with subjects that need both light and speed. Although, I've seriously considered the Telephoto EF 300mm f/2.8L IS Image Stabilizer USM Autofocus Lens, which is US$4,100.00. That is, if the market ever returns to a reasonable profit.

I'm a bit concerned that the Republican Party has eliminated much of our medical health care, which we just qualified for in terms of age last year. That means we'll have to go out and find insurance. No lens.
