Summer Fun :)

Uploaded: July 14, 2008

Description

We received permission from the Land Use Regulation Commission to build a deck. There are so many rules and regulations. We were in hopes to build a deck starting from the front of the camp around to the side. Unfortunately we could not build on the front and had to come back 4 feet from where we wanted on the side along with a smaller deck than we wanted. But let me tell you we were HAPPY with what we could do. We started building the deck and 8 1/2 hours later we had the deck build (without railings) which we finished on Saturday. We just love our deck. :)

Looks like all kinds of fun. Building a deck down here in Alabama wouldn't be much fun in the summer, hey fall would be great however. Nice shot Roxanne. #960407

Nice image of the work in progress! They make it pretty difficult to get permits where I live too...somtimes they forget that you are actually improving the property!!! #6177607
