I was looking through your gallery and kept coming back to this photo. I am new at this, and I can't tell you the technicalities... but it really draws the attention. Your eyes follow the railing back and you get pulled into the photo. I like the composition (which I think is what I am talking about! LOL). I also like the different shades of white. It always fascinates to me to see which of my images catch the eyes of a viewer. This remains a favorite of mine too - from a cycling adventure in the San Juan Islands a few years ago.
