The reflections in the cars caught my eye as I shot the fireworks this 4th of July. I took several shots to get the right mixture of fireworks, reflections, and people.

Great shot Marty!! I love the reflections on the cars and the silhouetting of the people! #957032Martin J. Preslar July 08, 2008
Thanks Christie! Too bad it won't be entered in the contest here, since I am not going to pay for a premium gallery just to enter the contests!Martin J. Preslar August 26, 2008
Well, I bit the bullet and got the 'basic' BetterPholio... Here's hoping this one does well! :)JudyAnn Rector June 01, 2009
Very interesting image, Marty... the combination you worked for REALLY works!! I know what you mean about the money... it sure can get a bit pricey!! May I be nosey and ask where you DO enter that dose NOT cost anything? #7585913Martin J. Preslar June 01, 2009
Thanks JudyAnn. Most of the places that I used to enter that were free are membership places now. The only free ones that I still enter are www.photoshowdown.com and www.photographyvoice.com. I have been too busy to enter most contests lately. #7586253Maria Warren June 01, 2009

Thanks Maria.I should add that this photo, along with a few others from my portfolio, were recently among my first "Fine Art" sales from my business. I have sold sports photographs before, but this was my first sale of art and nature photos. :) #7587234
