Frosted Fronds

Description

Early morning frost coating the fallen leaves of a bald cypress tree. This stately tree looks like an evergreen, but sheds these delicate leaves (similar to those of a dawn redwood) every year. These were on the ground when the first hard frost hit.
Nikkor 18-70@60mm; f8@1/40 sec.
