Cahaba Lily

Uploaded: June 25, 2008

A late afternoon shot of a Cahaba Lily taken in Hatchett Creek, Alabama. The lilies grow only in pristine, running water. They grow in the thousands. Shot was taken in early May 2008. ISO 100; f/S 8.0; 1/250 sec.

Absolutely gorgeous James! The dark green bg really makes the white of the lilly pop! Excellent shot! #1102457

Thank you, Marta! It is difficult NOT to get a good shot of the flowers since they grow in such profusion, but this one is by far my favorite. Thanks again! #7317990
