Simplistic beauty, Mitch! Gorgeous! #6072212Nikki McDonald June 17, 2008
Very nice detail, color and lighting here, Mitch. My captures of this type of flower always look like blobs and never show off the delicate individual flowers like yours does. #6072315Mitch Spence June 18, 2008
Hi, Shelly, Jeana, Tammy, Jo Ann, Phil, Pat, and Nikki. There really are so many types of these, and I'm not kidding about their anti-deer properties being a real plus for me. The light was late in the day, oh, maybe 5:30 or 6:00 I guess. I fooled with the background. It wasn't as clean as this by a long shot to start with. Nikki, this was a really big type of allium bloom, so that helped with the definition of individual petals. #6074886Corinne M. Thompson June 19, 2008

Hi, Dianna, and thanks. Well, it missed getting an EP this time, but I think it will go back in the mix one of these days perhaps. #6154658Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
