Good morning Tammy! Thanks for dropping by. This was taken three years ago by my wife. We were sitting outside of a pub enjoying a pint at St Ives in Cornwall, UK. when across street at the beach she spotted this young lady totally absorbed in her fishing and took my camera to record the moment. There were other kids nearby doing the usual beach things accompanied by loud shrieking and laughter but she was in her own world.
Elizabeth is a professional artist so it was no accident that she chose to ignore the "rule of thirds" and place her subject right in the center of the image. No sky, no distractions, just that child in the center of her own world. #6012919
