Magic Tree Adjusted

Description

Not to toot my own horn, but I freakin' love this photo. I will be framing it! I duplicated the background. Magnetic lasso of the tree. Not easy to do, but I love mag lasso. I had always used the regular lasso while playing around on PS and mag lasso is so much easier. I added a Hue/Sat layer and went +66 on the saturation to make the tree pop. Then I mag lasso'd the tree again. Wish I could have held onto the lasso and that I didn't have to do it again... ? After the 2nd Lasso, I grabbed the inverse to get everything except the tree. Hue/Sat layer. -100 on the Sat and all of a sudden I had a very cool photo. I then went in and erased some areas where I saw green grass peeking through the tree. Made those areas b/w. I spent a long time on this and I really am proud of it.
