Good study of a very moving memorial. The statue they put up for the nurses who served in Vietnam is equally stirring. And of course the "wall". These monuments, are dedicated to real patriots. Not like the lip service patriots we hear so much about these days, but good American men and women who gave their very lives to defend freedom in an unpopular and perhaps even unjust war. This is my favorite spot in Washington, D.C. Thanks Daniel, for the touching reminder. #15518

Dear Lem M,
I have been at the Vietnam Memorial Wall many times, and there is always life at the Wall. People come and people go, but these young men and women who served our country will never be forgotten. I will come, I will go, and I will come again for..."Freedom Is Always At The Wall." You know, I might see you at the Wall. Daniel B. McNeill #30727
