Musical version found HERE

Thanks for tht advice Aimee, I could see what you meant straight away.
I changed it and added a fog, the fish was a cutout from another photo so I stuck a new one back in and left it coloured as a feature! The Pelican's dinner lol. ~Pat

I suppose I will have to enter in DD now though, do you think adding a fog it would have to go there?

Pat I just love this version! And it doesn't have to go in DD.....I would put it in Animals first and then try DD. Great PS work! #5922589

Graham Robards May 14, 2008

Okay I will put this one in. I am a bit confused as to what goes into DD. Is it filters? I notice folk use filters such as buzz and still enter in the normal catagory, is that okay then? tia ~Pat #5922617

John Connolly May 14, 2008

Fabulous work here Pat! I love it! Sometimes I feel a few of my images could be entered in several categories too! #5923070

Barbara Waldoch May 14, 2008

LOL This is teasing the poor Pelican, Pat!
Terrific work! #5923284

Joan E. Hoffman May 15, 2008

Well Done Pat, I love it! As far as DD, I would not think this would have to go there, I only put things in DD if the original subject is no longer recognizable as what it was LOL #5925291

Graham Robards May 15, 2008

LOL the fish came from another image,as Barbara said I was teasing the Pelican.

Thank you Aimee, John,Barbara, Christine, Avril, Paul and Joan.

I am so humbled you came and visited, thank you!

Yes John, sometimes I just don't know where to put things. If I do need to enter into the Digtial Darkroom I go go for broke then and use every filter under the sun lol.

Thank you Joan,so you use filters and still enter into an ordinary catorgory, maybe I am shooting myself in the foot! Thank you for your advice. ~Pat

Oh, now, THIS is hilarious, Pat. As funny as it is, it's also very photographically sound! I agree that you should try animals first and if you don't like the results, then go for DD.

From how I understand it, you can place an image into DD with even the smallest amount of post processing that isn't the standard contrast/hue/sat/sharpening that one would do on most all of their images. I've never been one to enter my stuff there cuz the competition is UH-MA-ZING, but I did get a finalist (whoa,, I was shocked) with an image that I used the Topaz filter on and that was basically it. Pretty much if it doesn't look like something that would come straight out of the camera, it qualifies for DD. Oh, and yes, according to the guidlines, you can also put DD work into the other categories as well.
Clear as mud now? LOL #6735929

A young girl who is trying to find out who her dad really is. Filmed in Europe. A musical. Her mom had three serious boyfriends who COULD have been her DADDY so she invited all three to a wedding in hopes to figure out which one is her real dad! #6742739
