It is very exciting when we catch these awesome birds. Great high key, Laurie! I chased an Osprey around these last few days and did get a few great images. I've loved your hawk series! #5894293Bill Knaps May 07, 2008 0

I was thinking the same thing about drying off his wings -- I'm sure that is what he was doing here. Love that you've presented him against the white bg! #5894338Erin Appelbaum May 07, 2008 0

Great capture, I hope he comes back. I find my comes and goes with the changing moons, usually a new moon and then the full moon, although I have not seem them lately they are probably nesting. I see the vultures but not close enough to get a shot! #5896734

This is so breathtaking, I don't know that I've ever seen a more "engaging" photo of a predator! Just fantastic, in my opinion.Colleen Farrell May 08, 2008 0
Laurie, I agree with you about flowers and wildlife--if I could shoot wildlife more, I would love to (I need a bigger lens, more energy and a lot more patience, lol). Fantastic capture of this beautiful bird--the white background is wonderful! #5897817
