1/200s at f/5.6 ISO 100 75-300mm lens.
I took this yesterday in the rain and drizzle. Again following the hawk from tree top to posts from neighboring fields and back. We did this for over an hour until heavier rains drove me back indoors.

What a wonderful capture, Laurie--the best of the three, I think, though I did love the composition in yesterday's, too. Amazing detail, clarity and color here. What a thrill it must have been to get these. Were you on foot? #5886793Daniella Puente May 05, 2008
Fantastic bird photo, very well framed and with a superb sharpness, look so strong bird! #5887243Laurie Daily May 05, 2008
Thanks so very much friends. I have been thrilled beyond thrilled to be able to get this many images. I have one or two more from my shoot! I was on foot, Nikki...with tripod and camera in hand and trying to protect camera from the drizzle and rain which kept threatening to end my fun. Now that I am back to work, I will miss seeing my hawk, but I do hear that he was around today again...hopefully he likes it here and will stick around for awhile. As much as I know he threatens the birds that I love so much...he is such a magnificent creature and I think he likes me...well, tolerates me anyway! #5887259Nancy (Peaches) Harker May 05, 2008
