This is Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara - California.

Though we tend not to have real seasons, one thing that is apparent is the change in the shoreline during different times of the year.

During the winter, storms remove most of the sand and you're left with a rocky shoreline. During the summer, the sand is replenished... #27217
