Taken in color, then turned into monochrome image with history brush on the blue sky applied, then turned into HDR image in PS.

Love the effect you have created here - the grey buildings really stand out with the blue sky behind. I'd be tempted to clone out the wire, it distratcts a little but a gorgeous image all the same. #905988

Hi Geraldine, thanks for your comments and encouragement!

I tried cloning out the wire, it's the part that goes over the church that distracts me as well, but I'm not that good with Photoshop yet - I keep getting the 'smudged' parts :(

I guess I will give it a go again when I get more practice in PS. #5978120

Hi Rahela, yes it is a painful process - the only way I've found effective with the clone tool for such a long piece is to clone one hit at a time - so you can't just clone and drag along, you need to alt-click and clone then alt-click and clone and so it is a very tedious process. This is still a very powerful image though. #5980630

Thank you very much for the hint, I kept getting the smudged parts and got discouraged and left the wire altogether.
