Mourning the Loss

Uploaded: April 01, 2008

Description

THis scene is now gone. It was destroyed by the Crown Fire in Leona Valley which has been burning since last Thursday. It still has not been 100% contained. We lost many of our favorite shooting spots, including the Lazy T ranch. Linda Ruiz and marilyn Lincecum's homes were right on the edge of the fire, luckily they were spared. This is part of life in the desert.

Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/1600 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 9.62 mm, Model: DiMAGE A2

Wow! Is this EVER gorgeous! I love the POV, and the flowers and their color...but then we have the curvy white fence and the sliver of bright blue sky. Just fantastic.

All things new again. Bill Wyatt once told me that if a good photographer has nothing to shoot. He (or she) will take pictures of a wall. Outstanding Jill!!! #8854593
