I don't know what deep thoughts were going through this guy's mind. The terns and gulls seemed to be having a blast, and some other pelicans were in better moods. Perhaps these gloomy clouds had him in a gloomy mood, as it had been a pretty day up until then. Maybe he just saw his latest statement of value on his stock and mutual fund portfolio and is bummed out after its decline in value from the recent crash. I don't know. I hope he cheers up.
