Location: Willow Flats, Teton National Park, Wyoming 2005. The flats are moose heaven until calving time when the grizzlies move in. The day before this photo, a moose calf was taken here.

Wonderful shot Denny!! Your right about the Bears, they have a drastic impact on the Moose calves. The cow moose leave too much of a scent trail the couple days up to the birth of their calves, and as a result the bears move right in after they are born. We have the same problem here, only with black bears... #5560130
