I really like this close up shot. You can see the indifference in the cat :) #840122

This is a gorgeous closeup! The expression is great, the details are stunning! The thumbnail does not do it justice, to fully appreciate the colors and textures you captured here, you need to see this big! Great work R.M.!

Hi All,
Thanks so much to all of you for the wonderful comments!! Believe it not Jill, I didn't do any cropping at all on this image. Riley, my model, was a little irritable and I had a difficult time getting the best composition. Ultimately, I would have liked to include all of his right eye and all of his mouth. That of which I tried to accomplish with many, many shots, but unsuccessfully. I'd like to try again to capture that composition. Thanks again for taking the time to comment. I will be sure to keep my eyes open for your posted images.

I apologize for assuming you cropped this photograph. It is an outstanding close up!!!! #841091

Oh, no apology necessary at all, Jill.
I looked at your images on your website. I too think your photography of pets is outstanding!! I'm a professional commercial photographer, so after shooting still items for advertising most of the day, I very much enjoy trying to capture an image of one of my six pets. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs. They all have their own individual personalities. Regards, #841110

Thank you for the kind words. Well you beat me in the number of pets category. I only have 4 - 2 dogs and 2 cats. You are so right about unique personalities. I love photographing animals and could do it all day. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of your pets. #841754
