Is this the same one as the close-up? I have to admit that I like this one much better, being black and white and all...

The only thing that kind of "bothers" me is that the building got cut off. What lens did you use?

Yes Vasko tghis is the same lighthouse as the close up one. It was taken with a 28-80 lens which came with my modest Minolta 404Si camera. I like this photo too. I actually took the photo cropped as is to avoid having the lighthouse tower in the middle of the photo. I actually do have another photo of this lighthouse from a little further back and it includes the entire building. However I do not think that it is as effective as the cropped one you see here.

I agree with you on cropping it. Had the light house been in the center, it would have done much more damage to the photo than cropping a bit of the building...good call!
