Description

This image is a milestone for me. Of the thousands of images I've taken in the two years since I started learning photography, this is the first time an image is EXACTLY what I wanted. In my eyes, this is the best photograph I have ever taken and I am very happy with it. Now if I can only do it again!!

I can see why you are so happy with this photograph Dale! It shows the simple joy of the two kids on what looks like a beach all to themselves! Beautiful use of effects also! Nice work! #845790

Thanks Sheryl. They were having so much fun it only seemed right that the beach should be all theirs to enjoy alone. Dale #5438399

Wonderful! I love everything about this as well. I still don't think I have "taken" my favourite picture yet, but understand totally why this is yours! #6007862

I have yet to find one of those images Dale I'm very happy for you! This is wonderful. Love the happy feel to this shot....makes me feel like a kid again myself! The effect worked very well also to add to that feeling! #6008528

Thanks so much Joan and Aimee. The original image I liked also without the effect. The only reason I used it was because of the atmosphere today about taking images of children that aren't yours, so I wanted to disguise their faces. I actually like the unprocessed image better. Dale #6008761
