Hi
Really like this photo, though I think you could be a little more precise on the color selection. As I see it some of the hand is apple-red and some of the apple is kid-greyscale. Overall a nice photo.

Thanks April and Lasse!!

I agree with your comment Lasse and Thank you. I am trying to learn PS and trial and error I guess. What I did was highlight the apple and change the rest of the picture Black and White. Any suggestions? #5386497

I love this photo esp. The selective coloring, I'm still kind of learning as I go as well, but I am a big fan of the selective coloring, something I do is, I color change the whole photo to blk n wht add a layer use the history brush on the apple, clean up the edges with the color change brush, then you can slide the opacity down a bit which might help tone down any harsh edges another tip would be to use the selection tool on the apple and then go over it with the history brush. Sorry for the long msg. but I hope this helped :0) #5539258

Hi again D...
I am using layer masks (newbie to the technique though) but it only applies to PS CS3. If you do edit in cs3 I would reccommend the use of layer masks. Its the ultimate powerfull way to edit your pics. And you can use it to several edit types including selective color edit... Unfortunatly Im not that skilled in PS Element so I cant help you there.

Regards Lasse
Keep up the good work! #5540404
