One Special Moment

Description

This is from a wedding I did over Thanksgiving weekend (2007). I simply despise having to use lighting - I found the one of the few window in the main area of the church and took several shots there (despite it being overcast and little light coming in!) - and again, they are by far my favorites. They were a little underexposed, so I had to lighten it up some... Duplicated the layer, diffuse glowed it, set it to screen and knocked down the percentage to lighten it yet a bit more, and to soften it... Used a hue saturation layer at 75% to give the photo a sepia effect, while still allowing the color of the flowers to still show through some.

I love this photo and so does the bride, so I hope others do as well!

Beautiful effect with your editing. Window light can bring so much more emotion into the picture. Well done! #5328128

Kary,
I agree with Brandi-Lee!
I think the light and shadows here create a GREAT look!
The shot of the bride in very nice too!
