Thank you all so much for your kind words of encouragement. I don't know what made me choose this image to work on; I guess it was because it is winter and I miss swimming (although it isn't too cold here). Also, I haven't been to the beach since late Sept. Anyway, I have always wanted to use the quadrant colors on something, but it has never looked right before. This time, the center division worked well with the big shell, and the pastel colors looked so summery, so it just seemed to come together.
