I love this photo! Could you give a brief description of how you did this?

Hi Rita,

I thank you for you compliment. Here's a brief outline from start to finish.

-cleaned up original photo - clone out extra branches, colour and brightness tweaking etc
-did slight buzz on all so branches and chickadees are slightly buzzed
-used a paint bucket to fill in hues of blue for the stain glass
-selected with the wand all blue parts
-copied and pasted into new layer
-applied plastic wrap effect to get semi-opaque look
-adjusted brightness

I think that's about it.
