It's cool the color and shapes we can find in our every day landscape. Nice shot Connie!

Thanks for the comment!

My son thought I was nuts when I stopped to kneel down and get the shot on our way home from school.

All he said was "mo---m" real long and strung out

But I like the shot too so it was worth his sarcastic tone :o) #19153

I know exactly what you mean Connie. One time I was busy photographing mountain scenes, and some really great looking weeds caught my eye, so I set to work with precision, getting just the right set up for the shot, when a car stopped and a lady jumped out. She started chattering away, saying what a great day it was and exclaimed, "My gosh, you're not taking pictures of the weeds, are you?" I stammered and said, "Mmm-mountains". Then I quickly dismantled my tripod and left, without getting my beloved weed shot. Can you believe it!

I sure can believe it....

Have you ever noticed that weeds are sometimes better looking than an actual flower? Maybe it's just a photographer thing that other people only see "weeds"

I think it must be Connie. So many people think I'm crazy for being passionate about photography. I agree that sometimes weeds are better looking than an actual flower.
