When I went to shantiniketan for a weekend tour with my photo club members, one day I saw this boy with some pigments in his face in an adjacent village. His bright eyes were continuously looking at our activities. Suddenly I saw that boy was standing just beside two white goats. At that time I was attracted by the contrast between the boy and the goats, black & white, dark pigmented face & smooth white hair of goats. His look & posture both were beautiful. He was actually looking at me standing beside my left hand side when I was busy to shoot one decorated door of that tribal village. Suddenly I turned to the left and snapped this moment. When I returned kolkata I sent this photographs to my brother in law, who is a doctor. And asked him whether it was a case of arsenic or not. He told me that the raindrop pigments are one of the symptoms of arsenic affected patient. So it may be a case of arsenic infection.

Wonderful slice of life, as sad as it is. As a photograph, it is very emotive and beautiful. #5020132Jenny D November 02, 2007
