Blue Angels flying in tight formation at Oregon Air Show

Ron Bolger August 18, 2004

Beauty shot, and meaninful to me as, while in the navy I flew co once for a pilot that later became a Blue Angel. The worst part is I am not a pilot and had never flown any thing before, but I was just a tech along on a bogie run for a radar test, but he did order me to sit and take the wheel. I guess that was just practice for him in doing insane things. :)
I have watched them preform many times and spend some time with them at their training fliel at NAS Yuma, AZ
Thanks for the memories.
