Thanks, everyone, for expressing the enjoyment you found in my photo of Durango & Dee Dee. Truly "kindred spirits," this shot was also a "blessing" as it was their last day together. I was so glad to capture their love for each other.

Durango has now retired to my brother's family, where his two teenaged girls will work with him as a therapy dog for visiting people in hospitals and nursing homes in San Diego.

Dee Dee is now my service dog, and we have promised her, and ourselves, that we will visit Durango often! It's all in the family!
