Description

The Coopers Hawk is part of a re-introduction program that has been very successful in cities all over North America. I was lucky enough to see this one swoop down and catch a mouse for breakfast.

Thanks Cindy, I saw one last summer catch a little bird mid air and bring it into our yard in the middle of the city. No camera with me!

Thanks Kathy, they sure are interesting. My friend was playing with a small remote control helicopter yesterday in the late afternoon, an owl swooped down and knocked it out of the air! Go figure, exciting.
