Hey Brenda, glad you came. That bird is a little spooky with those eyes. Nicely done. Dave #773071

Good to see you. I am of the opinion that blackbirds are in themselves.. spooky. Saturated for sure!

This is really cool Brenda! Love the super-saturated color and great composition. I agree that blackbirds carry the creepy stigma. So sorry to hear about the image you were working on and lost. I know how that feels...It SUCKS!!! #4996511

Ellen Powell October 28, 2007

Brenda, This is wonderful!! I agree about blackbirds. One word that was used in the olden days instead of "flock" when it came to crows was "murder": a murder of crows. #4996573

Steve M. Harrington October 28, 2007

Wonderfully rich and saturated image, Brenda. Your description of what you lost is terrific. Turn it into a novel. :)

Great submission Brenda! Love how you chose to let the crow lurk in the corner, watching, waiting ... creepy is right and simply perfect for the occasion! #4996861

A murder of crows, never heard that one, but that sounds spooky! Great ssaturated colors Brenda and oooh, those creepy eyes. I hate blackbirds; some kept coming to my birdfeeder last winter and eating all the food! #4997500

Brenda c. McFarland October 29, 2007

Hey Peaches!! I didn't know you were gone for the weekend either. Yes it was silly Saturation Sunday. I was gonna put in a pic of 4 or 5 pics merged into one my snoopy house, the explosion from the bus, my sunset with the tree up close was gonna be the background and I was still gonna use the black bird oh yeah and the head of my daughter with her tounge sticking out. Just as I was finishing it up my program crashed. Gonna learn the hard way to save as I go along! LOL!!! #5002304
