Great graphic quality to this shot, Paul! #157054Darren K. Fisher August 11, 2004
This made for a great abstract image, and you have presented it very well. The best complament I can think of is to tell you I thought it was a Betsy Zibas image. She loves Miami but loves doing shots like this as well, check her gallery out. #700406Kasia Elser August 11, 2004
Nice shot! #700432Paul Conlan August 11, 2004
Thank you Dorothy, Darren and Kasia... I'm glad you like the photo. Darren, I'm very familiar with Betsy Zibas' work and understand your comment to be a great compliment. Thank you! I entered a series of Miami Beach photos back in May... including this one. But I deleted this one after a day when Dorothy's truthful comment confirmed my own thoughts that the lines of the photo were out of square. So... I've now taken the skew feature in PS to the image and hopefully improved it. FYI...My other Miami Beach photos are on the second page of photos in the "Latest Images" gallery at my website. Thanks again and best wishes... #700752Ed Heaton September 14, 2004

Congratulations on your finalist, Paul. And by the way, I no longer get vertigo when I look at it! ;) #780798Paul Conlan September 14, 2004
Thanks Dorothy... for your congratulations and for your advice regarding the original image. This straighter version is MUCH better. #780832Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
