I have not seen a light house like this. Wish I knew more of it's history. Looks as though it is a house plan wrapped around a customized light house tower. Great colors and composition! #773043Debbie Fleri October 28, 2007
Hey Steven,,,Thanks for the comments...Here is the info plaque I was telling you about...: )I very seldom if ever take a shot of a lighthouse and don't take a shot of the info plaque if it has one...: )
That really goes with anything that has an info plaque...It helps me learn and remember about the time I was there...: ) #4996661

Thanks for posting the plaque for this. I couldn't read all of it, but enough to get an idea. It is amazing that it operated using a giant wick and oil for 80 years! That task certainly required some dedicated maintenance. I am sure other people who enjoy knowing details will appreciate your extra effort here :) #4996885Debbie Fleri November 01, 2007
Thanks Steven...Sorry it has to be resized and you can't read it too well...: (
Have a good day...TTfn...Debbie : ) #5015338

I've never seen one like this before either, very different. Good strong colours in this scene, well done=^..^= #5845677Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
