Description

Mesr desert is near Mesr village located in Isfahan province in Iran.
I chose the last hours of the day because of ideal angle of the light and using soft lights of the sun and interesting long shadows.
Because of that I had a short time to photograph the desert.I had chosen best locations and I knew what locations I should photograph. Soft lights on the sands in this desert scape helped me to compose the best composition. curves and Desert patterns in the desert helped those lights as well.
I usually use F/8, F/11, F/16 for my landscape shots( I'm not gonna lose sharpness) it depends on DOF and the situations the shots would have, like movements and etc, in this case I wanted
long exposure as possible as I could to capture movement dunes in the air and I had to choose smallest aperture F/32 with 0.8s SS, unfortunately when I composed this view there was no strong wind I mean it was stopped.

Morteza --
Wonderful image -- I love how the light spills out of the bowl and runs down the incline.
Thank you. (And if you are learning as you say, you might want to look at the work of Art Wolfe--another landscape photographer.

Morteza --
I love the north--the Arctic, Labrador, etc. and a few years ago I was browsing a garage sale and stumbled across a fantastic signed picture of an iceberg. Of course I bought it with a bunch of other stuff for $5. Stared at for a few days and decided it had to be somebody famous. Looked up the name and discovered Art Wolfe. It's a 10 x 14 and simply amazing.
