thank-you very much. I am just learning new applications for the EF 100mm 2.8 USM lens and I was surprised with the depth it gave me with ISO 400 Av-3.2 . I've been very busy collecting bugs for macros and so I usually use different settings and have never worked with flowers... just bugs and butterflies. When I get done clearing the backlog off HD, I will put up some early jpgs. #4884974

ah-- I like this lens very much, but I wish I could say the same for my skills in landscape and castle scenes with the big EF 75-300. What applies to macros does not transfer so easily to big settings. It seems always to be new learning experience. Thank-you very much for the compliment. I've been away so very long. #4922813
