Cole's Candle
Uploaded: September 12, 2007
This past Sunday I attended my first Donor Family Gathering. There were about 200 of us in attendance. I didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be healing in a way. I met several parents who had also lost their children this year and we shared stories and many tears. The best part, for me, was the lighting of the candles. Every one represents a person who gave a part of themselves to make someone else's life possible. As you can see, Cole's candle is the green one in the front.
Rest in peace my Coley Boy!
