Shy Hopper
Uploaded: September 10, 2007
Found this grasshopper hopping around in the yard. They are everywhere out here. Some are green, some are brown.
I held him in my hand for quite sometime before he hopped to this flowering weed.
Comment's welcome and have a GREAT DAY!

Peaches...the detail is amazing! Did you use a tripod? Excellent....Lynn #4773896Nancy (Peaches) Harker September 10, 2007
Thanks so very much Lynn, nope, no tripod. Grasshoppers are hard to get with the just the camera let alone trying to do it wiith a tripod lol. I had fun chasing him around from plant to plant though. #4773934Tammy Espino September 10, 2007
OMG ewwwwwwwwwww YOU touched it?!! No touching bugs for this city girl. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ( stomp) ...but, let me say excellent picture and love the purple highlights~ Oh oh and congrads on your shadow EP!! Your running out of room for just 30 photo's. Exceptional macro here, Dianna!!! The detail, colors & focus are all excellent my friend!!! I am picturing you running around in your garden from plant to plant like some tribal dance. Did you have music in the background? #4774319Patrick Rouzes September 10, 2007
Please forgive me ,Peaches- I was looking at Dianna' name just above & somehow typed it here. Sorry !!!Nancy (Peaches) Harker September 10, 2007
TAMMY, NO stomping on the grasshoppers, they are friendly. Course their legs feel a little weird rububg when you catch them. Probably one of the only insects I don't mind besides butterflys lol.Hey Dianna, had to check your gallery again, I hadn't been there this afternoon, having server problem's, so being on is when it allows me too.
YES, must be a grasshopper day lol, I just love there look they give us, just to funny. I really enjoyed this one.
Thanks so very much and will head over to comment on your in a bit. Have a nice night! Hope all is well with you and Sara.
PATRICK, I FORGIVE YOU lol...I don't have a garden, just fields and a yard. They were everywhere in the field yesterday, was chasing them for more photo's lol. Had a lot of fun, no music though.
Thanks for the encouraging words, and have a super night!
