Steve,
I love this, the reflection is great are they real? did you use a light box give the details?? #733005

Steve Mescha September 07, 2007

LOL, you caught me! I shot this in natural light, adjusted levels to get a white background, and duplicated the layer in soft light mode, about 50% opacity to get the bright color. I created the reflections by copying and pasting each one seperately, flipped vertically, blurred, dropped opacity and erased with a very soft eraser. All edits done in PSCS. #4761721

Well, the shot is terrific, I am amazed you can remember all that. I have not played with Photoshop CS in some months as well moved and my PC is not up yet. You have really a great shot here.

Thanks, Amanda, Manuel, and Maria! Yes, these are the tiniest of Cherry Tomatoes, about the size of small marbles. Apparently Manuel has "issues" with my editing...or something? For me it matters only to get the final image with what ever tools I have available :-) #4763518

I LOVE it! And how you think to do the things you do to create the images you get still amazes the heck out of me. #4832709

Steve Mescha September 23, 2007

LOL, Marsha! It's only because I'm too cheap and lazy to set up a proper studio to make these shots happen in the camera :-) #4833253
